Emily & Simon – Thornton Manor
Date: May 2016
Venue: Thornton Manor
Theme: Vibrant colourful blooms for the bridal party and venue
Set in 120 acres of the exclusive wedding venue of Thornton Manor, this wedding day was incredibly captured in the 19th century manor house with waterside pavilion, lakeside marquee and walled gardens.
At our first meeting we explored lots of ideas with Emily and Simon who wanted to have a large variation of vibrant summer colours and flowers that would work beautifully together.
“Jacqui was very creative, helping to develop our ideas into something real”
As anyone knows, bringing a wedding together takes a lot of organisation and planning. Emily and Simon were the perfect couple and worked in partnership bringing fantastic ideas for me to design the bridal party flowers, venue décor and final centrepieces.
“Jacqui offered a personal service and was willing to adapt and change as we inevitably changed our minds. Our meetings to design and finalise the flowers were more like a friendly chat”
Keeping within budget, the whole venue was decked in stunning vibrant flowers on the day, with matching petals and confetti for everyone to enjoy. The flowers were picked perfectly and so fresh that they lasted for two weeks after their wedding day.
