SCENTED PEONIES

Sarah and I initially met at the historical Jacobean Hall where I was showcasing my floral designs. I instantly warmed to Sarah and she loved flowers in particular peonies, I got excited this was going to be a pretty elegant wedding.

Sarah lived in London so most of our chats consisted of online calls and photos sent via WhatsApp messages. We were confident with our creativity together we could design the vision she had for her romantic wedding.

To achieve a soft, textural and elegant wedding style. Sarah's favourite bloom is the peony, so this was a must in her floral palette. I selected 'Double Duchesse de Nemours', it has a light delicious scent. To complement the peony fragrant eucalyptus and astilbe were added, these were accompanied by the textural astrantia, delicate baby breath and relaxed olive for a romantic styling.

The bridal bouquet was a lush horizontal design which of course showcased her favourite bloom with soft trailing silk ribbons to capture movement and the romance of the day.

SCENTSCAPE

Sarah and Greg chose to have their ceremony in the historic 200-year-old coach house. We kept it understated as we didn't want to take away from the rustic charm of the building. We created a romantic and fragrant arch perfect to say 'I do'. This industrial copper metal-framed wedding arch featured two delicate asymmetrical arrangements perfect for the first kiss as husband and wife!

The florals in the Sperry tent were filled with a beautiful scent to wow the guests upon their arrival. Sarah and Greg had a mixture of tall and low-level designs, with the injection of suspended t-lights and floating candles to add to the romantic ambience. It truly was a magical wedding breakfast filled with lots of joyous moments.
