FLORAL ARTISTRY

Where floral design and the painters John Everett Millais’s subject Ophelia meet to create a dreamy romantic inspired boudoir.  Capturing a sense of grandeur, lushness and opulence. The floral vail accessorises one of the beautiful timeless roll-top bath in the James I ensuite with spectacular views of the countryside beyond.

Let me introduce you to 'Bouvardia' which is one of the best kept secrets in the flower world. It is named after Charles Bouvard, the personal physician to Louis XIII and the head of the Jardin du Roi in Paris. This stunning origami flower symbolises ‘enthusiasm’ and was drawing attention in the royal court as early as the 17th century in France. My preffered grower Vrekeen Bouvardia are located in Holland and they are dedicated to nurturing this shrub into amazing cut stems.

The floating greenery vail of the Asparagus fern providing a romantic lightness. It offered a beautiful backdrop to showcase the delicate flower clusters of the Bouvardia. We chose to use ’Royal Sweet Roza’ and ‘Diamond Sparkles’ for a soft, dappled, and dreamy floral styling . The leading lady was supported by the much loved wedding favourites ruffled peonies, romantic roses. and sweetly scented astilbe. All these floral delights reflect the quintessential English romance perfect for this house nestled in the Cheshire countryside.
