This is the tale of how two people fell in love which started at an interview in Edinburgh. However neither Marcus nor Lauren had ever suspected they would fall head over heels for each other. Marcus tore up his ‘round the world' flight ticket, to start a life with the girl he loved! And we have to say they are so lovely, we enjoyed every moment with them!

For me, perfecting your unique style on your wedding day is about feeling beautiful inside and out whilst being your authentic self. Together we can explore and design florals that show who you really are. Read on to discover Lauren's style and experience with Jacqui O.

How would you describe your wedding style and theme?

'Modern Elegance - We wanted to create a sophisticated and timeless affair with a modern twist. Our palette was shades of ivory and pastel green foliage. We also wanted to create something slightly unique and modern which Jacqui’s floral column design paired with tall birch trees achieved perfectly.

How did you feel on the day with your beautiful flowers surrounding you?

I will never forget the moment when Jacqui brought my wedding bouquet to me on the morning of our wedding. I got goosebumps and cried. It was exquisite and everything I had hoped for … and more!

The ceremony arch (that doubled as a photo booth backdrop on the evening) and table centrepieces were so stunning and simply perfect. Jacqui isn’t kidding when she tells you she is your fairy flower godmother - she not only brings your vision to life, she does it ten fold!

Why did you choose Jacqui O?

All the pictures I had seen from the designs she created seemed really fresh and the flowers looked in pristine condition.
All the weddings seemed to have their own unique touch – she manage to create the perfect balance by showing her individual style in all her designs but also adding diversity for each of her weddings and couples.
I trusted her. From the very first conversation I knew that she understood what we wanted to create and that was so important for me.

Jacqui suggested original and different ideas we wouldn’t have considered but just LOVED, whilst also making sure our vision remained within our budget (something Mr Cole is very grateful for haha!)

What would you say is different about Jacqui?

Jacqui is the most beautiful person inside and out. Her commitment to providing the perfect day for her couples and delivering their vision is so apparent from the very first conversation. The journey to our wedding day wasn’t the most plain sailing (#covid) but one thing that made it easier was having Jacqui in our corner - from late night chats on the phone to help ease my anxiety to going above and beyond on the wedding day, not just by delivering the most beautiful floral creations but helping us with all the other little tasks on the morning of the wedding which were completely outside her remit.

Did you get any comments from family and friends about your florals?

So many comments and compliments on how stunning everywhere looked and how beautiful the flowers smelt. My mother in law still talks about how they are the biggest roses she has ever seen in her life. Everybody loved the backdrop of the columns for the photobooth as well!

What advice would you give other couples starting their wedding journey?

My advice to future couples would be - book Jacqui (you won’t regret it), be as a clear as you can with what you want, then take a step back and worry about everything other than your flowers.
