QUIRKY PROTEA
Donna had been a customer when I initially set my business up in 2013 selling gift bouquets and on every collection she said ‘if I EVER get married you are making my flowers’. I was surprised and overjoyed when I finally met Tim at a wedding fayre and saw the twinkle in Donna’s eye! I didn’t believe it she was finally going to get married and she wanted me to create her flowers.
Donna had a passion for design whilst wanting quirky and different. The first thing she showed me at our consultation was a pair of Jimmy Choo’s along with the bridesmaid dresses, this was my inspiration. Donna wanted to capture her winter wedding and the heritage of the beautiful Iscoyd Park in her wedding flower choices. The quirky ‘Niobe’ proteas, ‘Faith’ the classic rose and the something different the ‘Bush Diamond’ Anigozanthos all nestled in the scented foliages of ‘Moorei’ eucalyptus and berried ivy.
‘OMG; just completely blown away! My bouquet was exquisite; and so much more than I had hoped for; just perfect and then some! When we went in for the wedding breakfast; WOW; they were just amazing.!’
I trusted Jacqui implicitly to pull off and create the vibe we were looking for!
SCENTSCAPE
Donna and Tim chose to have their ceremony in The Garden room of the Grade II Georgian house at Iscoyd. The fabulous florals in the Marquee were filled with an abundance of fragrant eucalyptus to tease the senses upon the guests arrival for the wedding breakfast. The quirky arrangements were raise off the table on copper plumbing pipe to add a modern twist. These bespoke dramatic florals not only looked incredible, they allowed their guests' to chat easily across table. Donna loved candles so by raising the flowers we were able to add some romantic candle light, using hanging t-lights and church candles sat in copper rimmed hurricane vases.

'Everyone commented on the flowers; just how amazing they were and how it all came together so beautifully to create such a stunning look. They were also designed so that I could give away the table pieces and many went away with arms full of flowers. The beautiful smell the flowers created as well was something lots of people commented on; and it really added to the vibe of the day!'
